Dear C2SI Community,
I am Nuraddeen Idris , a graduate of Electrical Engineering from Nigeria. I am writing to introduce myself as a prospective GSoC 2026 contributor interested in the WebiU project.
I have intermediate proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. Although I am new to open source contribution, I am committed to delivering quality work and learning the standards and practices of the WebiU codebase.
I am particularly interested in the API optimization, caching, and frontend enhancement aspects of the project, and I am preparing a Medium (175 hours) proposal. I have cloned the repository and am currently setting up my local development environment.
I would greatly appreciate any guidance on where to begin contributing, or recommendations for a suitable first issue to address prior to the proposal deadline.
