Hi everyone!
I'm Vasantha Kumar, a 3rd year Computer Communication Engineering student at Amrita University, Coimbatore, India. I'm thrilled to join this community as a GSoC 2026 aspirant!
Technical Skills:
- Python, FastAPI, LangChain, LLM integration
- React.js, TypeScript, Node.js
- Machine Learning & AI (intermediate level)
- Docker, REST APIs, Git & open source workflows
- Mobile app development
Project Interest:
I'm particularly excited about the Agentic Cognitive Firewall SDK (Idea #10). The concept of building a Zero Trust control layer for LLM agents — covering prompt injection detection, policy-as-code enforcement, and cognitive telemetry — is exactly the kind of AI security problem I want to work on. I believe agentic AI systems are only as trustworthy as their security layer, and this project directly addresses that gap.
I have already studied the project description in depth and have started exploring the architecture. I'm planning to make my first contribution to the C2SI codebase this week.
My Goal:
To contribute meaningfully to C2SI during GSoC 2026 and continue as a long-term open source contributor beyond the program.
Looking forward to connecting with mentors and fellow contributors. Happy to collaborate and learn from this amazing community!
