I've finished the code to randomly cycle through a number of random
songs while playing the regular game and loop the intro music while at
the main menu. For now we're using some of the battle music from Battle
for Wesnoth as placeholders since it's decent and I know it's GPLv3
compatible. Still waiting to hear from ArchAngel if he'll let us use his
music, if he doesn't we'll find/use something else.

Was there ever any thought to using the more dynamic music like the original game had?

Not sure if you guys noticed this before, as I didn't even find out about this until I went to record it one day, but the music of the original game had music that would change depending on how much action there was going on.  I'm sure that's pretty low on the list of things to do, but I just wondered if anybody had put thoughts to it.

I never knew OMBC had dynamic music, course I didn't pay close attention
to the music while playing... *especially* when there was action going
on. Switching songs is easy enough to do, even in the middle of one I
can force it to fade out and start a new one as things change. The
difficult part would be programming the game to recognize what "level"
of action is going on in the game and then choose an appropriate song.
It's a good idea, and I'm creating an issue for that in the issue
tracker so that I'll remember to do it when I have the time/inclination
to do it. Course I will need a confirmed final collection of songs to
work with as right now we just have placeholders.
