Thanks to Maurie Cohen, who sent links to reports of a demonstration in Oxford, there was an interesting exchange of views on the listserv concerning criticism of the 15 minute city model. I edited  it lightly for an ICYMI which has been uploaded onto the SCORAI website

My only direct encounter with anti-15 minute city was in a community in Calgary with a woman walking her dog as I campaigned for a friend in our upcoming provincial election
She began the conversation of 15 minutes city unprompted,  by telling me ‘in England people are not allowed to leave their communities’ as her knowledge of 15 minute city.
Sure discuss the nuances of legitimate city policy but this 15 minute city thing is another wacko conspiracy theory as it is playing out on the street.
It has quickly been added to the list of grievances of the homophobic, authoritarian, anti-vax, newsmakers here in Calgary
