Dear SCORAI colleagues,
I hope you are all well. I am reaching out this time to mobilise the strength of our network in support of an excellent early-career scholar from our group at Lund.
Below is a message from Dr. Vera Sadovska, who is currently preparing an application and is seeking international mobility hosts.
I am Vera Sadovska, a postdoctoral researcher at the International Institute for Industrial Environmental Economics (IIIEE) at Lund University, Sweden. I am preparing an application for the Formas Career Grant for Early-Career Researchers, focusing on post-growth business models in the food sector. This inter- and transdisciplinary project aims to explore business strategies in food and agriculture, emphasizing socio-ecological transformations, post-growth and degrowth principles, resilience, equity, and sustainability beyond growth-dependent paradigms.
The grant requires international mobility stays for career development. I have confirmed one 4-6 month stay at a university in the Netherlands. I am seeking two additional hosts — in or outside the EU — for similar durations in 2028 and 2029. Ideal hosts would be research groups or departments with expertise in post-growth/degrowth, sustainable food systems, business models, organizational transformations, offering academic supervision, access to networks/seminars, and opportunities for case studies in food and agricultural sector (urban and rural context).
In return, I offer collaboration on joint publications, co-creative workshops, joint applications for grants, drawing from Lund's growing post-growth community, to foster knowledge exchange and strengthen international ties.
The application deadline is March 4th, so please contact me ASAP at vera.s...@iiiee.lu.se if interested. I can share my CV, project abstract, and draft support letter.
Best regards, Vera Sadovska”
Thank you for considering whether you or your institution could host Vera. I would be truly grateful for any leads or expressions of interest.
With best wishes,
Oksana
