Dear SCORAI members,

We are launching a new cycle of Socio-Ecological Transitions Seminars (SETS). SETS is a joint initiative between the Research Group on Collective Action, Change, and Transition at the University of Trento (Italy), the Centre for Sustainable and Socially Responsible Consumption at Bournemouth University (UK), and the Environmental Sociology Section at the University of Orebro (Sweden).
In the seminars we reflect on socio-ecological transformations in times of crisis – with particular attention to the themes of sustainable consumption, moral economies, and decolonisation.

A.Y 2022-2023 programme:

12 October 2022 – Philip Balsiger, University of Neuchâtel
9 November 2022 – Fátima Portilho, Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro
14 December 2022 – Markus Wissen, Berlin School of Economics and Law (HWR)

The seminars are open to a diverse audience, including academics, students, practitioners, social movements, and non-specialist public, so please feel free to attend and share.
All sessions are held on Zoom  (password: SETS) and start at 3 pm (UK time).
I will circulate more details about each session closer to the date.
Best wishes,
Roberta
