Bringing forward the A in SCORAI: The Common Ground Festival

Dear SCORAI community,

We would like to invite you to follow the updates from the Common Ground Festival in Penna in Teverina, an inspiring initiative that truly embodies the “A” in SCORAI – Action. This event brings together diverse generations to co-create, exchange knowledge, and explore practical pathways toward more sustainable consumption.

Through hands-on activities, dialogue, and shared experiences, the festival emphasizes intergenerational collaboration as a powerful driver for change. By connecting younger and older participants, it fosters mutual learning and helps translate sustainability principles into meaningful, everyday practices.

The Common Ground Festival also contributes to shaping how we communicate sustainable consumption: by grounding messages in lived experiences, local culture, and collective creativity, it demonstrates how communication can inspire engagement and action across communities.

We warmly encourage SCORAI members to learn more about the festival, contribute, and help amplify this initiative as a space where ideas meet practice, and where bridging generations becomes a catalyst for more sustainable futures.
