A recent review of consumer trends by Mckinsey may indicate some relevant themes for more sustainable lifestyles for the Z generation
First, it identifies reduced consumption. It appears in relation to improving health and wellness by reducing adverse ingredients in diet but perhaps that could be expanded to other sectors in the future.
Second, it notes a preference for meaning, memories and experience to make time feel well spent - however that is also accompanied by increased travel.
Third, it notes that resale has become mainstream and that attention may now be paid to durability.
These themes are of course not new to us in the SCORAI community but it is good to see them in mainstream consumer marketing.
