HERMAN DALY FILM UPDATE

Dear SCORAI friends:

 

I'm excited to announce that our Kickstarter fundraising campaign  for ECONOCLAST, our film about Herman Daly, which features several SCORAI members including Daly biographer Peter Victor, is now three-quarters of the way to our goal of $39,500, thanks in part to support from several of you and our initial major donation from Bob Costanza. 

 

Please help push us over top--no donation is too small and Kickstarter accepts all international donations.  We set our goal low because Kickstarter is an all ot nothing campaign--if  you don't reach the goal none of the pledges are chargedd.  We will make it but want to go over so we can make the best film possible and promote it widely.  Herman Daly deserves to be honored in this way and the film can help spread his ideas of sustainable economics, which I know you share.

I hope to finish the film by mid-summer so it can be widely shown in the fall.  We are only looking for finishing funds.  The film is all shot and scripted.  It will be my last film--#50 in a 50 year career--and I am donating my time.
