Well, maybe because (1) there are now so many framework with similar capabilities but supported by bigger institutions, for example: Grails, Play, Spring Roo. (2) Or also maybe because architecture trends have switched to RIA/SPA where simple backend (less framework) is preferred.

You may be rite , But scooter framework also give such features provided by Grails , Play or Spring Roo... but it may not be as famous as others. 

I had developed a two enterprise application application using Scooter.. its very good framework for small scale application.

This framework will help us to complete the project in quick span of time.
