If there's any seattle-based lurkers here, on April 9th I'll be giving a pretty informal talk about Scoobi:
There's only a few spots available, so get 'em quick. It's going to be a bit more introductory than I originally planned, as there's a lot of people there still in the early stages of exploring scala, and I don't want to scare anyone off with the type-level stuff xD And equally there's people with no exposure to hadoop/MR/big-data -- so I can't jump into that either.
But I'll have entertaining (and completely unrelevant) slides, and would be happy to take questions or any awesome scala-based job referrals (esp. a Spanish speaking country or NYC)
