scoobi triggers bug in 2.11.x and latest scala-ide

Thanks to the scala-ide folks we identified a bug in the compiler triggered by scoobi: https://issues.scala-lang.org/browse/SI-9192

and also https://scala-ide-portfolio.assembla.com/spaces/scala-ide/support/tickets/1002389-typechecker-hangs-for-a-long-time-when-editing-a-scoobi-program

You can follow both if you are interested, but it does mean that the eclipse scala-ide 2.11 will lock up frequently on any scoobi program until the bug is fixed, so I recommend to stick to the previous version of eclipse if you are working with scobi
