Wavebox is a chromium-based browser that supercharges productivity for personal or team use. Replace multiple tabs with a digital workplace for all daily web SaaS apps and websites. Automate tasks across multiple apps to work seamlessly. Wavebox automatically builds faster workflows between apps as users work.

Wavebox optimizes browser performance by allowing users to arrange apps and tabs in the browser interface for consistently smooth browsing experiences. When apps are not being used, Wavebox automatically sleeps all inactive apps and tabs to maintain performance. Setting customization allows users to change UI themes, hibernation timer, notifications, badges, icons, and keyboard shortcuts.

Hey Teja, thanks for leaving such a fab review. Efficient tab Management is a crucial feature of Wavebox, so it's great to hear you're using it to the fullest! We're working on improving Smart Notes, so watch this space. Your notifications should all be working, so that's something we can fix for you straight away; drop a quick email to support(at)wavebox.io. Thanks also for recommending us, that's awesome! Best wishes from Susan and everyone at WB HQ.

I use it everyday. It's my web browser.Instead of traditional "bookmarks" and "bookmarks bar" you would use in Chrome, WaveBox allows me to create separate "Groups" for each website or app that I use.On top of that, I can run the same app, in different "cookie containers". This allows me to be logged into multiple accounts on the same website at the same time. A Huge time saver!

Comments:I am having a great experience with wavebox so far as it has made my browsing experience much better. Now I can stick to one browser instesd of shifting from here to there for search of some better functionality as it alone it capable of providing everything we require from a browser.

The speed of the wavebox as compared to other traditional browser is much more better and much reliable. We can add multiple gmail accounts, or multiple accounts from different category without shifting from browser to browser. The support of chromium makes it eben better.

Not much to dislike about it, yes while we dont have to pay any charge for using popular browser like google chrome, here we have to pay a monthly fees for using the unique features and for enjoying the better speed.

Honestly I'm not even sure you can call Wavebox a browser any more. It's more like a work operating system. It gives you an easy way to have different workspaces for different functions. When you work in tech like I do and have different teams, different clients all with different systems and literally hundreds of different SaaS apps I use each day, it was a real pain to have to constantly login and regular chrome or Firefox was getting overwhelmed with the tabs I had open, not to mention I could never find anything. Wavebox sorts all of that out. It's a game changer, and their email support is the epitome of what amazing email support should be.

There is really nothing I don't like about this app. Clearly whomever has built it is wicked smart and has really thought about what a work user might want from their browser. It's incredible. Really well built, never glitches and one of my absolute favourite apps. It's indispensable to me and if for some reason Wavebox no longer existed the pleasure and productivity gains I get throughout my day would take a massive hit. Yes, Firefox and Chrome and Edge (lol!) are free but comparing those with Wavebox is like comparing a Toyota Landcruiser with a wheel barrow.

Comments:Amazing find! I'm so happy to be paying $100/year for this browser, even though all the other browsers are free. But you get what you pay for. This (after you learn it and set it up to your liking) is on a completely different level. Seriously, try it out. Really try to understand everything that it does. Its has different "Cookie Containers" which are like Chrome's "profiles", but they're way better, more powerful, more customizable, and somehow actually all work together as one browser (share extensions, share login autocomplete data). It's much better in every way (but you have to learn it - it's different).

Account management. It remembers and syncs all your login passwords and chrome extensions across all your browser profiles. Much better than Chrome. Chrome is glitchy - does not remember my passwords, does not update them, does not associate the username/email to the password. Wavebox does this flawlessly. And, it can understand which profile I'm using, and remember the correct session, correct login.

It takes time to set up correctly. It takes time to learn. They really need to make and promote a YouTube channel, and have a technical-documentation site that's made easy to read for a regular non-technical user. I'm a software engineer, and I was confused about many of the features and how to set them up at first. I imagine a non-technical person just quits after a short time and stops using the browser - before being able to harness and wield the amazing power it offers.

How many of you have tons of tabs open in your web browsers or a bunch of programs opened up on your computer that you access daily? It may even be slowing down your computer and browsing because of how many tabs you have going.

Sidekick is an app browser that is built on top of Chrome to support using Chrome apps, but is way faster than Chrome. It offers a fast way to work with a Team or Collaborate with clients in a fast productive way.

Wavebox is an app browser for organizing everything you do on the web in one place. I came across them after trying several of these platforms. It organizes all of your apps, tabs, and any other web activity you do in one place. Like Sidekick it is built on top of Chrome so you can use Chrome apps, extensions, and themes. But unlike Chrome, it is fast.

A site-specific browser (SSB) is a software application that is dedicated to accessing pages from a single source (site) on a computer network such as the Internet or a private intranet. SSBs typically simplify the more complex functions of a web browser by excluding the menus, toolbars and browser GUI associated with functions that are external to the workings of a single site. These applications are typically started by a desktop icon which is usually a favicon.[1]

Site-specific browsers are often implemented through the use of existing application frameworks such as Gecko, WebKit, Microsoft's Internet Explorer (the underlying layout engines, specifically Trident and JScript) and Opera's Presto. SSBs built upon these frameworks allow web applications and social networking tools to start with desktop icons launching in a manner similar to standard non-browser applications. Some technologies, including Adobe's AIR and JavaFX use specialized development kits that can create cross-platform SSBs. Since version 6.0, the Curl platform has offered detached applets Archived 2011-07-08 at the Wayback Machine and the EmbeddedBrowserGraphic class which can be used as an SSB on the desktop.

On 2 September 2008, the Google Chrome web browser was released for Windows. Although Chrome is a full featured browser, it also contains a "Create application shortcut"[3] menu item that adds the ability to create a stand-alone SSB window for any site. This is similar to Mozilla Prism (formerly WebRunner), now discontinued, but which is available as an add-on to the Firefox browser version 3.[4]

I have Bitwarden desktop installed. I also have the bitwarden extension installed into Firefox and Wavebox. I have to unlock the bitwarden vault three times, if I want to use it on the desktop and in Firefox and in Wavebox.
IIRC Lastpass had a feature that, when the LP desktop application was installed, unlocking that would automatically unlock the browser extension(s) too.
It would be nice to have this feature in Bitwarden, too.
