We access a Tarantella server remotely via the Internet (from
Australia to Germany). Our users have installed native client on their
PC, and we use squid as our web proxy. The proxy goes pass our
firewall (Gauntlet) to the Internet.
All access to the Tarantella server is via https.
We have frequent session being disconnected nearly 3-4 times an hour.
We did a traceroute to the server and the response time is usually >
400ms so we know that the packets are slow.
However, is there any tunable parameters in the native client/ squid
or firewall that can help reducing this disconnection?
Any pointers will be appreciated.
Thanks
Kai
