Hi,

I have Tarantella Enterprise 3 for Intel Linux kernel 2.2+ (3.20.907).
We have a problem with printing from Windows 2000 application servers.

Tarantella's server hostname is tserver.
W2K hostname is winhost.

Let's say I connect via webtop to W2K desktop.

When I try to print something from windows host, the job is received
by tarantella server, but something is wrong with the print job
created.

print_error.log shows that the host (-H parameter) which send the
printjob is the tserver, while it should be winhost
it shows also, that username of tha job owner (-L parameter) is root,
while this is not the user that logged to the winhost

anyway, lp_interface processes the job, puts it to
/opt/tarantella/var/spool, but the jserver cannot print it, since it
cannot find the session for root@tserver
(there is no such session)

jserver log shows
2003/12/05 11:27:07.479 (pid 19432) server/printing/error
#1070620027479
Tarantella Enterprise 3 (3.2) ERROR:

No name mapping is present for .../_dns/tserver
Unable to identify which Tarantella user owns root-28820.

The job will not print.

Make sure .../_dns/tserver is reachable.

I hope I explained the problem. I'd be very grateful for any
suggestions.

Of course mapping tserver->winhost doesn't solve the problem, since I
wouldn't be able to print from other w2k hosts then anyway.
The problem exists for all users and all w2k application servers.

Regards
Kuba
