Hi guys, sorry for being a little ignorant.
I am trying to integrate SCM-Manger with my Bugzilla and Subversion(if subversion is necessary, again I am new to all these, and is impressed by this SCM-Manager tool)
When setting the URL for bugzilla in the bugzilla tab, I was shown "Please make sure your entry is valid"
and when I changed it to http://www.someting.com the error didnt show.
Please help!
SCM-manager 1.31
my bugzilla4.4rc2 is up and running fine on my own laptop on Apache2.2 port 8080
browser is IE9
Windows 7 32bit enterprise

Hi,

it is not a good idea to configure the URL the scm-bugzilla-plugin settings to localhost. The given address is used twice. For updating related bugs and to create a link to the bug in the SCM-Manager's commit view. This will only work, if all is running on the same machine. If SCM-Manager is opened by another computer, the link to localhost will fail.

Hi Jan, thanks for the reply, I just wanted to try it out on my own machine before I will implement it on the network that I am working with(bugzilla is being hosted on a proper server), is there any way that I can make it work on my own machine? there is Bugzilla, SCM-manager and subversion running on my own machine.

Yes, you can insert your local IP-Address (e.g. 192.168.x.x) or hostname (e.g. mycomputer.domain.local) of your network connection.
