Hi there,
I'm fairy new to STEPcode and have spent some time of late trying to familiarise
myself with the code associated with the AP214e3 schema. I'm hoping to read in a
STEP file and write STEP files corresponding to each of the constituent coloured
surfaces

I wonder, can anyone offer a rough outline on how best to proceed?

I'm assuming it's easier to do this with STEPcode as opposed to OpenCascade
but am open to correction.

Many prospective thanks for any ideas on this.
Best regards,

Charlie Stirk

Easier depends on your context.   It could be done based on STEPcode or OpenCascade.   Though if you have very little context it may be easier based on FreeCAD.
