Bus error installing scitools

[Sofie Longueville]

I'm installing scitools for my mac OS X version 10.6.6. I already
installed python 2.6 and matplotlib-1.0.1. But when i try to install
scitools i get the following error:


cde-215-191:scitools-0.7 sofielongueville$ python setup.py install
default scitools.easyviz backend becomes matplotlib
(could be set by the --easyviz_backend option to setup.py)

Bus error


What can i do to solve this problem?

Is the above text the complete output?
Check that the python installation is healty, e.g., make a plot with matplotlib. Also try python setup.py build first (for scitools).
