When performing a mathematical operation on the data array associated
with a cube, it would be nice if, optionally, one could specify that the
original array be overwritten, rather than a new cube created as a
result of the operation. This should support more efficient operations
and reduce memory usage.

The operators within iris.analysis.maths already let you perform in-place operations, with the exception of `multiply` and `divide`. Are these the operations you're referring to?
