Hi all,

for anyone interested, there now is a new SciTel project on Google
Code ( http://code.google.com/p/scitel/ ), with a new database schema,
and refined data from all EC-TEL conferences.

The data itself is scraped from the Springer publication web pages
with Web Harvest (http://web-harvest.sourceforge.net/). If you want to
scrape further data (such as citations), or use this to scrape other
sources, you may want to look into the files under /data/webharvest.

Furthermore, there is a new Java project with updated data POJOs, as
well as Hiberate mappings, and some basic DAOs. For this to work, you
need to create a database in Postgres (with /data/sql/scitel-dbschema-
ecteldata.sql), and update the Hibernate configuration file (/config/
hibernate.cfg.xml).

This of course is just a starting point, and the schema can and should
be extended to other purposes. Hopefully we can create some further
nice and meaningful visualizations with it.

Best,
Till

P.S. Please tell me your Google account e-mail if you want to get
commit rights for the SVN repository.
