Dear colleagues,

some weeks ago I asked for your support in answering an online survey about the roles of knowledge workers. As we are still looking for more answers to the study in order to draw a clear picture of how knowledge work is organized in different organizations and by individuals I'd like to remind you about this study.

Please answer yourself and tell your colleagues and projects about the study.

You can answer in English ( http://bit.ly/KWRStudy ) or German ( http://bit.ly/KWRStudy_de ).

Thank you for your support
Wolfgang Reinhardt

#### Original Call for Participation ####

Together with my colleague Benedikt Schmidt from TU Darmstadt I am conducting an online "Knowledge Worker Roles Study". We are conducting the survey in the context of our Ph.D. theses.

In the focus of the study are knowledge workers, the multiple roles they take on during their regular work and the actions they perform during accomplishing their work. A knowledge worker is anyone who develops or uses knowledge in his or her daily working tasks. Furthermore we try to associate application types with the knowledge actions.

We would like to ask you for your participation in the study which will take approximately 25 minutes. Your participation is anonymous and all answers will be treated confidentially.

Furthermore we would like to ask you to forward this call for participation to your colleagues and projects.

You can access the survey in an English and a German version.

English version: http://bit.ly/KWRStudy_de
German version: http://bit.ly/KWRStudy

If you have any questions about the survey, please do not hesitate contacting us at kwrs...@googlemail.com

Thanks for your cooperation and best regards
Wolfgang Reinhardt and Benedikt Schmidt
