SciTE 5.0.0 released

   SciTE 5.0.0 is now available from the scintilla.org web site.

   SciTE 5.0.0 is a major unstable release. It is likely that it will have more bugs than 4.4.6.

   SciTE uses Mercurial (Hg) and Git for source code control. The repositories can be cloned with

   There will not be a macOS release of SciTE 5.0.0 but there should be macOS releases of 5.0.x later.

   The executable downloads may not work on Windows XP due to the use of Visual C++ 2019. Its possible a later release will provide Windows XP compatible executables.
