Defocus find/replace strip

Is there any setting that can focus on text pane after executing find or replace?

I can't think why is it like this. Even when I restore scite from task bar to paste some text, it's pasted in find/replace strip input box instead text pane, if find/replace strip is opened.
If it's some programmatic problem, then maybe option to autoclose find/replace strip like similar property for "Find in Files" dialog, after execution?

There is no setting to change focus after performing find or replace in the replace strip.

Focus restoration after restore could be improved.

The replace strip stays open after commands so that you can change parameters and repeat operations.

I'll accept a well-written option to automatically close the replace strip or dialog after command execution.

I'll post reply here instead initiating new topic, as it's similar issue.

 - hit Ctrl+F and type some string to find
 - now hovering text pane*, use your mouse track-wheel to hopefully scroll in text pane, but:

as previously reported focus is in this find input box, and mouse wheel rolls find history. It's not just that, but the search term that initiated the search can't be found again in find history - go type it again and recheck!

I just don't understand why no one complains about this silly hard-coded find/replace strip "features".

On Windows (but not some other platforms), mouse wheel events go to the control with focus. While this could be worked around, its not simple or obvious.

Maybe it's that strip dialogs are really handy but unorthodox... I for one would never expect they grab focus after I execute find/replace action

Windows applications where mouse hover grabs focus are not uncommon. I'll mention some I use from top of my head: Altap Salamander file manager, foobar2000 (audio player using native Windows UI), Sublime Text editor...

If I can report another strange behavior of the find-replace strip,  the combination ctrl + c, ctrl + v doesn't work inside the strip. I have to use the right mouse button menu.

Don't you expect to be able to type into them after showing them? That's focus. The text control shows the blue border and selected contents that are indicative of focus.

   Do you have a particular sequence of actions that illustrate this? I just tried Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V on the strips on Windows, OS X, and Linux and it worked on all platforms.

To summarize my points:

1. From my earlier complain:

 - Allow option to change focus from find/replace strip to text pane after executing command. This would include focus transfer from any control on strip dialog, as Scite retains focus even to buttons.
 - When restoring Scite (switching to it, etc) never focus on strip dialog.

2. My new complain:

 - Even if focus is on find/replace strip, allow scrolling text pane if mouse is hovering it, and scroll input box only if mouse is hovering strip dialog.

Forgot to mention, that even if text pane is focused and Scite is minimized, when I restore it, it focuses on strip dialog if present which is a bug.
