To fix the cpp bug reported today, there is a new version of SciTE, 5.3.5, available from scintilla.org <http://scintilla.org/>.
The problem was fixed with a new release of Lexilla, 5.2.4, which also includes an update for GDScript. Scintilla was not updated and is still 5.3.4.
A macOS version has entered the pipeline.
