SciTE 5.0.2 is now available from the scintilla.org web site.

SciTE 5.0.2 is an unstable release.

A font.locale property is provided for Windows + DirectWrite (technology=1). This setting can produce character shapes that match a particular locale which is most commonly used for East Asian languages.

Bug fixed with checking of #! shbang lines for files without extensions.

On Windows, a bug was fixed that caused text to be displayed with an incorrect encoding.

On Windows, fix directory locking by setting current working directory to that of SciTE executable at startup.
