Hi Jose,

We have an IRC channel which has a bridge on matrix:

Matrix does not depend on a company, is true free software and
federated to boot. It replaces Slack, gitter etc.

I am thinking we should start using Matrix, maybe add a Discourse site
(for support) and drop google groups (in time).

https://discourse.ruby-data.org/ was used during GSoC discussion but it was not real time chat. So may be we need slack channel and integrate github PRs, issues notifications there.

So new contributors can ping in slack channel for any doubts, PR review quickly.
