Hi guys, I'm just trying out SciRate and it looks promising! Unfortunately, it's not currently workable for my usage pattern because it keeps logging me out. I have to log back in to see my custom feeds. I've tried visiting daily but I'm already logged out. I haven't looked into why it occurs... maybe the cookies expire too soon or there's some problem on my end?
Anyway, if this is also affecting other users, I expect it is a disincentive to using the site. I would recommend you allow long-term logins (eg. a "Keep me logged in" checkbox). Alternatively, you might create public feeds customized to each user (eg. https://scirate.com/username/feeds) so users can view their customized feeds even when logged out. (But that would be my second choice because it would still require me to re-login to "Scite" or comment.)
I'm excited to start using SciRate regularly -- I hope this feedback helps.
