stats.binned_statistic

Hi all,

I have a program which original version using stats.binned_statistic to calculate number of values in each bin.

The data are in total 8760 hours for whole year.

But I have an idea to do day analysis, which means I want to check every 24 hours for whole 8760 hours.

The problem now with stats.binned_statistic, it calculate number of values and accumulate it and does not remove duplicate.

For example, there are 3 values within 24 hours, but I need it to output one value only and skip to next 24 hours.

Anyone have any idea to do that?
