Reconstruct 1D Signal

Hello all! 

I am new here and a grad student in EE with a problem with absolutely no guidance.

I am referring to a similar problem as described here:

1D Deconvolution Post

I am doing this in MATLAB rn but feel free to give me suggestions  - any suggestions - to help me out.

All I am trying to do i reconstruct my deconvolved signal so I get two peaks (since there are two exponential components)....

My y = IDS = 3 - 2 * exp(-t) - exp(-t / 10); % Inherently noisy signal
