Looks like the board is a bit dead lately, but maybe that is a good thing, maybe folks are having less scintillating scotomas.

Last night I was gaming and started to get a blur like a SS episode was about to start, so I logged out of my game and went to bed.
The SS never fully manifested, but this morning I awoke with that hang-over feeling and extremely after-imagey vision.
Now in the evening of that same next day I notice I have just a tiny blur spot in just my left eye a couple inches down from the center of my vision..
It was with me most of the day and seems to be a bit smaller now, and is most noticable if I am looking at the black border of my illuminated monitor...but I was curious if this has ever happened to anyone else?

Anyway, god bless you all, hope for less and less SS personally and for you all =)

Hi,

It does seem awfully quiet around here. I haven't had ss nor a full blown migraine in a few years and though I have some headachey type moments, nothing like the several times a month migraines I used to get. As for that blurry spot, that sounds like what happens when an ss episode starts but it usually goes away after the attack ends, before the migraine headache comes on. I've never seen it linger around after that before. Let us know if it stays over the next day or so, you may want to get this one checked out if it does

It seems like it is a bit less today, it wasn't really a blind spot like what we get before the SS episode, more just a grey'ish smudge, and I could only really see it between white and black contrast..sometimes with text on a white page, but more noticeably when I look at the black grout between my white tiles in the bathroom.  Maybe I am just hypersensitive from the post SS episode I had, maybe I am just fixating on it too much.

After a bit of testing, I can most noticeably see the grey spot when looking at a black monitor screen, and right clicking to bring up that small white box...it faintly blurs out one or two words about an inch down and slightly to the left of that small pop-up window.
To be on the safe side, I scheduled an eye exam 2 days from now... I keep seeing horror stories of detached retinas and such, so if this is something.. I want to catch it early.
Sadly, I am not very flush financially, but I would rather keep my vision..so I'll spend it.
