Mine always occur with light as a trigger. usually my iphone or Ipad, but can also be bright lights in a store or restaurant. They usually last 20-30 minutes. Used to be my right eye and now is always the left. i am getting occurrences about every 8-9 days. But, if I have one, I will often have another the same day. I am going to try VitaminB2 and magnesium together and see if I can get an improvement.
I am 59 and have gotten migraines with and without auras since I was 14. But, these usually occur without a headache. Really wish I could get rid of them. I have seen an opthalmologist and he said they were classic ocular migraines.
Anyone here have success with Vitamin B2 or magnesium?

Yes, I had tremendous success with a formulation of B2 (riboflavin), magnesium and pharmaceutical grade feverfew. My scintillating scotoma frequency of occurrence immediately went from 2 per day to two per week and then gradually to zero over the course of a few months. I was finally able to discontinue the formulation but I keep it on hand just in case. You are on the right track! Good luck!
