SS and Covid shot?

Have anybody's SS episodes increased after getting a Covid shot?

I am considering J&J since it uses more proven technology, but have not decided. My neurologist said he as not seen an increase with SS after shot, but I still am reluctant at this time. Please advise. Thanks

No change. Mine are not frequent any way, and no more frequent since Covid shot.

Had both Moderna shots in April. No change at all in frequency. No neurological symptoms.

Funny you should ask that. I have been relatively SS free these past years but had one the very day after receiving my Covid vaccine. (It was the JJ vaccine). It was the only medical event that I could report in connection with the vaccination. I would still get the vaccination even if it was definitely 100% known to trigger a CSD seizure (SS).

Thanks Kevin.

Did you only get one SS event, or did it increase the frequency so you got them much more frequently than before you got the shot?

A couple years ago I got an pneumonia shot and the frequency increased from about once in three months to about twice a week which was horrible. Thankfully its better now that I have been taking Petadolex so I am concerned about the frequency skyrocketing again.
