Thankfully, I got some relief also. My naturopath gave me a food sensitivity test. Not allergy, but sensitivity. Based on the results, I quit gluten, onions, garlic and tomatoes but still was having SS about once a week. I am sensitive to corn but did not want to quit it.

Then I started eating corn chips and had SS every day for three days. So, I quit the chips and all corn and now have not had SS for two months. I think anyone with intractable SS may wish to consider a food sensitivity test.

The cure for me has been to drink a glass of water each morning. This has
avoided my daily episodes. When an episode starts, a glass of water will
help end the episode.
