Dear All,
It’s that time of the year when we need to gear up for the Indian
Independence Day celebration. DESI has been maintaining this tradition of
celebrating Independence Day, for the past 11 years.
DESI welcomes you to be a part of the glorious tradition as a volunteer,
helping organize the celebration or participate as a cultural performer putting up a
colorful show on stage.
*Call for Volunteers:*
DESI has been able to uphold this tradition of Independence Day celebration
only with the help of active volunteers. Volunteers are the driving force
behind the complete organization of the program. To start with, we call for
volunteers to join in for the first meeting on Thursday July 10th evening
7.30 PM at AV Williams 2120.
Even if you are not able to attend first meeting and you are interested
then let us know by filling out this form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1DWhoFVMkqFTzaANBVVT9Xw8_dMqJQnlGvxcN0Zlf6-A/viewform
*Call for Participation:*
DESI's Independence day celebration usually attracts a huge student
audience at the Nyumburu cultural center. It is indeed a great opportunity
for any artist to perform on stage in front of a lively audience. You are
welcome to put up an Indian cultural dance, music or drama performance. If
you are interested in performing during the Independence Day celebration, please fill the same form as above.
