Monthly Temple Trip SSVT (Sunday, March 30th 2014)

We hope everyone had a wonderful spring semester. We will be having our monthly trip to SSVT this Sunday, 26th January 2014. Lets welcome the warm spring season with some prayers food and relaxed time with friends.
    
The temple is providing FREE rides, to & fro, between 3 pick up locations and temple. 
FREE prasadam will also be provided for all the participants.

Departure time: 11:45am
Return time: 3:00pm

Benefit concert for Rama Mahotsavam by Ananth's Veda group

One of out Community connect organizations - Ananth's Veda Group is planning to conduct Sri Rama Mahotsavam - a 3 day special festival to Celebrate & Propagate the greatness of Sri Rama, Sita, Lakshmana and Hanuman from August 1st to 3rd 2014. They are organizing a benefit concert for raising funds for the Mahotsavam. The details of the concert program are as follows.

Nature of Concert: Carnatic Classical Insturmental Concert, an ensemble of Veena, Violin, Mridangam, Ganjira and Ghatam by eminent musicians of our Washington D.C area.
Date: Saturday, April 5th
Time: 5:00 - 9:00 PM
Tickets: Adults $35, Children $10   
Venue: Hindu Temple of Metropolitan Washington, Adelphi, MD
