New issue 155 by ben.v.root: Dependency upon a fixed python version
http://code.google.com/p/scim-python/issues/detail?id=155

Hello,

I have noticed that in order to fix issue 5, you made the
configure-python.py script explicitly depend on python2.5.
http://code.google.com/p/scim-python/issues/detail?id=5&can=1&q=python%202.5

This is now causing issues with distributions moving on towards python3.0,
and the scim-python package is set to depend on python versions >= 2.5. In
the case where the buildroot does not have python2.5 install, the
python-configure.py script will fail.

Note, this bug was originally noticed downstream at
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/scim-python/+bug/441415

Also, somehow, Fedora has managed to avoid a build issue, but it might be
that the buildroot still has python2.5 available, for now.
