Hello,
I am curious if anyone has requested ccache (https://ccache.dev/) be setup and maintained similar to cmake / ninja as python wheels.  Myself and others have already greatly benefitted from and appreciate how beneficial having cmake / ninja as python wheels has been and would welcome ccache as well.

Hi Chris,

Technically,  it should be possible to create a "ccache-python-distributions" repository and set up the relevant infrastructure.

Would you or someone in your team  have time to help maintain the project ? If not do you think your group would have resources to fund its maintenance?

Thanks
J-Christophe

So myself or someone else would definitely be able to help with the first upload release.  However, I am not sure that we would be able to consistently follow up for updates.  I wouldn't want to commit to something then not follow through. I think that may be more harmful to the community than nothing at all.  But I would of course understand if the longer term support wasn't something anyone would want to take on.
