Hi, all! I'm planning on writing a blog post for Southern Fried Science highlighting some of the marine biology and conservation SciFund projects that still need funding to reach their minimum goals.

If your project is related to marine science/conservation and you're interested in being featured in this, please send me a brief project description, a relevant photo, and a link to your project (reply to David.S...@gmail.com , no need to send it to everyone).

Please do this by 5 P.M. eastern tomorrow (Monday 2/17).

Thanks, all! I hope I can help others reach their goals!

Sincerely,

Thank you David, here is the brief project description and photo:

The Dos Mares app:

A prototype application (App) for mobile devices is going to be designed and tested. With this application, any person may know about the scientific researches carried out in a specific marine protected area and their adjacent coastal zone. The application has the potential to be extended to marine protected areas in the United States and in many other countries as well as the potential to generate revenues. The Dos Mares App will help scientist, students, teachers, conservationist groups, local authorities and tourists to access specific scientific information of protected areas and their adjacent coastal zone. The Dos Mares App would also generate income offering marketing services to scientific, educational and recreational organizations and local businesses interested in publicizing and selling their products and services.
