Hello watery friends!

 

We would like to announce that the Beneath the Waves film festival is accepting submissions for the 2014 festival series. We would like to invite you to submit any films you may have that showcases your aquatic research and/or your passion for the marine environment.

 

If you have a story to tell about a marine or aquatic topic, we want to hear from you! Films shown by Beneath the Waves are by anyone and for everyone. So, whether you're a first-time filmmaker or a professional, we want to see your perspective and what you are passionate about.

About us

 

The Beneath the Waves Film Festival is entering its sixth year! The festival has grown each year and has been shown in over 20 locations worldwide per year to thousands of people. These festivals have been successful primarily due to the great films and incredible stories we've been able to share. For more details, visit out website: www.beneaththewavesfilmfest.org

 

Length

Beneath the Waves accepts short films (<10 minutes) to show at all of our festivals. However, if your film is greater than 10 minutes, we will still consider it.

 

Language

We prefer films in English, but films in other languages are also acceptable if they have English subtitles.

 

Format

We prefer digital submissions addressed to colle...@beneaththewaves.org using a common compression format. We also require the film to be distributed over a video sharing service (i.e. YouTube, Vimeo, etc.).
