The original series holds fond memories for me, but the reality is that it doesn't hold up very well.  Very cheesy at times, especially after the first season.  Nonetheless, I love the premise and I'm really looking forward to the new Netflix series next month to see what they do with it.  That being said, I recently read most of this run of 90's comics and if you want a dose of good scifi in that world, it is a really great read.  Not collected but you can find them fairly cheap.  I read the first 12 issues and the annuals.  I didn't bother with issues 13-18 as they represent an unfinished story.   It was collected and finished in a trade edition.  Unfortunately it is going for Un-Godly prices on Ebay and Amazon.  The series is adult (for the first few issues) and a bit over-sexualized in the art style at times, but regardless, it is good sci-fi.

I have these as well, but haven't read them yet (my to-read list is a mile long!) The art reminds me of the old pulp Sci-Fi mag covers. Definitely over-sexualized, and would not fly well today, unless released by Dark Horse, or a similar publisher.

I'm glad to hear the series is good sci-fi. I look forward to reading them.

I have a few of the issues in a long box somewhere, I enjoyed them from what I can recall.

Man! You've got me curious now! I'd go look in the attic, but getting up and down those steps right now is rather daunting!

I wonder if there's any scans around...
