The Great Disaster featuring the Atomic Knights

One character I have a strong affection for in almost all his incarnations is Hercules.  Whether it be old cheesy movies, the TV series, the Marvel character (my favorite one) or any other.  It's probably male wish fulfillment.  I have been going to a number of comic shows lately and buying cheap comics.  One I picked up is an old DC Hercules comic.  I don't remember ever reading the series, but it is Hercules in a post-apocalyptic Earth and really cool.  I immediately looked to see if it had been collected and it has, all 12 issues, but in black and white in this showcase edition.

What a treat this book is.  All post-apocalyptic stories from DC comics.  They don't necessarily relate, but if you're a fan of that genre, it is well worth it.  I haven't dived into it yet (on the reading pile).  I picked it up dirt cheap on Ebay.

Other than maybe  the Weird War Tales or  Komandi stories I don’t think I’ve read any of that stuff, don’t remember a DC Hercules comic at all.
