Maintainance issues in SH3

Hello Friends,
We are taking up maintainance related issues with EMU. I had talked JE
regarding these. He had visited SH3 couple of days back. JE advised us
to take these issues with EMU as EMO now is the sanctioning
authority.
I am attaching the application which I submitted to EMU. I encourage
others also to submit applications to EMU.

Sub: suggestions & complaints for improvement of SH-3

Sir,
I, the undersigned, is resident of SH 3/.... I have a few observations
which will improve the SH3.

Maintainance of parking area, Stairs and entrance road: Parking area
is in pathetic condition and need immediate repair. It is cement bed
and uneven. During rains, water and mud gets collected. As way to
stairs is through this parking lot, it is a nuiscance for residents.
We had talked to JE in this concern. He agrees putting parking tiles
is a better option but he is reluctant because of sanction issue. He
do not want to dig this up and put cement again. I agree that cement
is in good condition but its top surface has gone bad. During rains
water gets accumulated and only way is to walk through muddy water! I
request concerned authorities to look seriously into this matter.
Parking area for four wheeles is also in bad condition.
Cement had been put a number of times but it do not lasts. I request
concerned authorities to put parking tiles.
Entry Road to SH3: This road is in pathetic condition and water gets
collected here. Due to some reasons, road has down below side stone
rails. The flow of water from road to drain is stopped by these side
stones. Water around 2 inches depth gets collected here which makes
walking impossible. There are frequent sighting of snake as well.
There is a need to put new tar. During rainy season, atleast side
stone rails should be removed.
Gardening around SH: Green hedge plants at entrance (next to parking
area in SH3) are not maintained at all. These are growing wildly. Also
care is not taken at plantation along entry road. It is not
maintained. We request concenred authorities to do some land scaping
there. Either plants put there are wild or very old which require
replacement.
Play area of kids: Playing area is in pathetic condition and is not
cleaned at all. Ground is hard and irregular. I request concerned
authority to visit the playing area. It has scope for improvement in
every possible dimension.
Water wastage: A lot of water wastage whenever water supply comes. I
request concerned authorities to get water cut-off valves installed in
each water tank. Responsibility of maintaining these valve will be
with residents. Residents can put lock on their water tank. This will
avoid breaking these water valves when someone borrows water from the
tank.
Sanitation Facility for private security: All Scientist hostel employ
private security guard. They do not have any sanitation facility. A
toilet could be built between SH3 and SH2. There is a drain and water
tap as well. The responsibility of cleaning can be taken by private
security.
Working hours for Plumbers, carpenters and other maintainance
services: For any maintainance complaint, working hours are upto
1700hrs. Most of residents are bachelors or working couples. In most
cases, maintainance persons come and return only to find locked doors.
Residents end up paying someone from outside for maintainances. I
request concerned authorities to provide maintainance services till
atleast 2000hrs.
I and other SH 3 residents had raised these issue earlier also. We had
submitted applications on 30 Dec, 2010 as well. No action has been
taken on points 1, 2, 3, 5, 6. Some actions were taken but not
sufficient. I request concerned authorities to have positive look on
these issues.

Thanx for all this. I appreciate ur effort nd good intentions.
Yesterday u ask me to get slip no of light complain,  which I forget to get. Today I will do it nd mail u that slip no.
