Dear colleagues,
wonderful news: There will be another opportunity to see Nicolas Frerebeau's little introduction of the tesselle R packages! The last meeting was not exactly blessed with overflowing attendance - for various reasons - so we decided to move the appointment once more. We plan to join forces with the Rchaeology group for the next attempt, so please look forward to future announcements about that.
Sophie, Martin and I also decided to start our yearly summer break a bit early. That means there won't be a regular SIG-SSLA meeting in July and August, but only again in September. We hope to reconvene with new strength then.
Until then we would like to ask all of you to engage with tesselle (https://www.tesselle.org - Nicolas is rightfully eager for feedback) and with the discussion for our planned SIG project to revive some components of the TFQAR software collection (https://github.com/sslarch/tfqar/issues).
