Scientific Diver Course in 2025

Dear Scientific Diver Community,

 

I am pleased to announce our next Scientific Diver course today.

In 2025 there will be another course for external participants at the Scientific Diving Centre of the TU Bergakademie Freiberg.

This will take place from 27.06. - 06.07.2025 (Part I) and probably at the beginning of September 2025 (Part II). Information on the contents is attached to this mail and can also be found on the website of the SDC (https://tu-freiberg.de/en/sdc). 

 

Training at the Scientific Diving Centre of the TU Bergakademie Freiberg is carried out in accordance with the ISO standards ISO 8804-1 and 8804-2, which were published in early 2024. The SDC was successfully certified by Austrian Standards on 11.10.2024. We are proud to be the first institution in the world to receive this certification.

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be awarded the Advanced Scientific Diver certificate according to ISO 8804-2.
