Division A coaching

Hello,

First time participant for Div A. Are there any sample tests or material available for any of the events?

Div A is tricky cause it’s highly regional like the events designed for GA ESO are different than CA and even in CA, NorCal and SoCal are also different so finding material can be a challenge.

Yes, agreed there are differences between and within regions, but frankly every tournament can be run completely differently, in format and difficulty and events. 

There really isn't a good reliable reference for Div A practice because of the high variance. 

If it maps to Div B events, can reference easier Div B tests perhaps. But if the events don't map, it may be that practice tests don't exist and you'd create your own. Or ask your middle/high school teams to help create some for Div A.

My high school team runs a simple version using North Carolina as a template. The students choice 3 events only and conduct workshops for younger students and then hold a competition. 

NC is a great resource for you-modify how it best meets your needs.
