Hi! 

SoCal Div A is completely revamped this year so unfortunately there's no old material out there. Sherlock Foams is a brand new event for Div A. 

The good news is that most of the events map to Div B events. So Sherlock Foams maps to Div B Crime Busters. The challenge is adopting Crime Busters for elementary. For instance in Div B I've seen them use HCl (1M) for Crime Busters and at the elementary schools this is not a stocked chemical due to safety.

That being said, I'm looking into creating a SoCal Elementary Exchange Network/Coalition of SoCal elementary schools that's modeled off of the Summer Study Session and Captains Summer Exchange programs where schools will contribute a sample test and study guide for a Division A event and then gain access to the collective pool of material contributed by other member schools. The aim is to foster a cooperative and supportive environment at the elementary school level in SoCal.

If interested, please directly contact me. I currently have around 5 other schools involved covering LA, OC, and SD county, love to include more schools! My goal is to create a collaborative and wholesome environment of knowledge sharing that raises up all the kids, especially at these younger levels where we want to plant the science seed. 😊
