Winter comes late but lingers on into Spring.
This is absolutely ridiculous, If there's a variation in the rotation of the earth, it's speeding up, not slowing down, and it's a matter of milliseconds or something, they mock us with telling us almost always the opposite of what it really is! Thank you Diamond for your teaching and great updates about real science!

Study angular momentum, an ice age should increase rotation, melting ice should slow rotation.

I still say that this will cause a problem with the new planting season across most of our farms, and what is planted will fail to grow to fruiting much of all.

Crazy behaviors in upstate NY. Like there's zero impulse control. My fave is the 60 snd 70 year olds ignoring stop signs in the village where there are kids and dog walkers. They just blow right through. People ignore parking signs snd leave vehicles where ever they want all day every day too.

Get the lithium type batteries out of your homes and storehouses. Under a nuclear EMP attack, they will become incidinary and explosive devices instantaneously. Shield them. Isolate them. Even under normal circumstances lithium batteries are potentially dangerous. I met a guy a couple of years ago who had just burnt his father in law's barn down charging a cordless drill. Ever since I've been very conscious of where I store and charge batteries.
