@nakayoshikxさん、"Science with Python"の生まれた経緯についてのご説明ありがとうございました。

あらためて言えば、"Science With Python"とは、「PythonはRubyやMatlabに隠れ日本では、いまいち流行っていない」と皆で口をそろえて言うのはそろそろやめにして、むしろ、このScience with Pythonというキャッチフレーズの元、Pythonから呼び出せる便利なScienceに関連したライブラリの情報や、各種イベント情報などを共有してPythonを使ってScienceを行う輪をひろげていこうという活動です。

Google groups参加者の皆様には、できれば簡単な自己紹介と、現在使っている、もしくは興味を持っているPythonのライブラリをご投稿いただけたらと思います。

その情報は、Web site(Google stiesを利用？）にまとめることを考えています。

加えて、科学領域のPythonに関する日本語情報の充実（有益なソフトのドキュメント翻訳など）や、来年のPyCon ARACにおいて、発表を行うことも検討中です。これについてもご意見をお寄せください。よろしくお願いいたします。

Hello, everyone in Science with Python. This is @HW_a_pythonista.

@nakayosix-san, thank you for telling us about the story of the born of "Science with Python".

 "Science with Python" is the movement to spread out doing science using python, to share the knowledge about useful scientific python libraries and information of meetings and also changing the people's mind "python is not so popular in Japan comparing Ruby or Matlab".

Everyone, please introduce yourself and tell us about useful python libraries which you use or which you are interested in.

We are planning to assemble such information and to share the information on our web site which we will build (on the Google site?).

In addition, we are considering to enhance volume of Japanese information of python in scientific area (translation of documents to Japanese), and to make presentations on PyCon ARAC in 2013. If you have a opinion about this topic. please post your opinion.
