Subject: COMBO: ACTION CHAIN LETTER 9: RISE or FALL/ACTION CHAIN LETTER 8: UPDATE...

COMBO: ACTION CHAIN LETTER 9:RISE or FALL/ACTION CHAIN LETTER 8: UPDATE -
VERSION 3: Fast Forward Future/Rewind Roswell
                                Subtitle: NOBODY DOES IT STRANGER
                                 by Richard DePersio, Citizen Journalist

"There is no art which one government learns of another than that of
draining money from the pockets of the people."
                                 -Adam Smith, 1723-1790

"I strongly wish for what I faintly hope: Like the day-dreams of melancholy men,
I think and think on things impossible, Yet love to wander in that golden maze."
                                 -John Dryden, 1631-1700
Only one who has taken leave of his senses could think that a politician could
be capable of spending the people's money wisely.
Welcome to the "Citizen Journalist Game Show." Behind Door Number One: The
wisest, reasonable and most cost-effective way to use the money entrusted to the
politician; Behind Door Number Two: Not as prudent as One but preferable to Three;
Behind Door Number Three: Business as usual - what we have come to expect of
our politicos.
Congressman (www.)brooks.house.gov/public points out: "The problem is an
ambiguous direction set for NASA by the oval office...We are going to have to figure out,
if we are going to go with the "Constellation Program" with Ares (See - Facebook:
NASA_Ares) on the one hand - or, if we are going to go with some alternative,
heavy-lift vehicle, or low earth-orbit vehicle rather than "Constellation."
Clarification: Obama seems to favor "Orion" spacecraft as only an emergency escape
vehicle from "International Space Station." Orion was to be perched atop Ares 1
(medium-heavy-lifter) for missions to and from space station in the event that "SpaceX" and
"Virgin Galactic" (commercial companies) couldn't reach their goals of unmanned cargo                                                                                                                                                                 missions and manned missions beginning in 2012 and 2014 respectively. Orion/Ares 1 would
also be employed if in the future "SpaceX" or "Virgin Galactic" couldn't fly for periods of time
due to technical or financial problems. Orion/Ares 1: Back-up system. Version 2-Orion/Ares 5
(heavy-lifter) for missions beyond earth-orbit. We have invested over $9 billion in "Constellation"
(Orion vehicles, Ares rockets)."
Door One: Continue "Constellation." Door Two: Build new spacecrafts and rockets using
"Constellation" R & D. Door Three: Obama favors starting from scratch. Many, if not most,
Republicans and some Democrats favor One but will settle for Two or Two but will except One.
Will more taxpayer money go down the same presidential black hole as stimulus bills
and cash-for-clunkers!?! Will congress go against form and employ reason in response to
public demand to cut spending, use funds wisely and avoid waste. Time is of the essence.
Please act now in phoning and/or leaving a message at congressional members' websites.
Resources:For info on who to contact and how, please see previous "Action Chain Letters" and
Facebook: "NASA_Ares and call: 202-224-3121 and request names of your senators, names
of Chairman and Ranking Members of Appropriations, Budget and Science/Technology
Committees and sub-committees for this issue, as well as, other "Action Chain Letter"
a message.
Let's do ourselves a 'Second American Revolution' together.

Speaking of REASON or the lack there of: We highly recommend CSI, formerly CSICOP.
The mission of the "Committee for  Skeptical Inquiry" is: promote scientific inquiry, critical
investigation, and the use of reason in examining controversial and extraordinary claims.
Impressive: Two of the founding members were - Isaac Asimov and Carl Sagan.
Please add the above paragraph to the section on Roswell in "Fast Forward Future/
Rewind Roswell."

"We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect Union,
establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common
defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of
LIBERTY to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish
this Constitution for the United States of America."
-Preamble to one of the greatest documents ever composed
                                 (Madison and mighty fine company)

"Our deeds determine us, as much as we determine our deeds."
                                 -George Eliot, 1819-1880

CRITICISM 1 (Nobody does it better): It has been ten years since we were
attacked by muslims. The Liberty Tower/Office Building/Museum at ground-
zero in N.Y., New York is no where near completion due in part to lousy
unions. Determination: The Empire State Building was constructed in
one and a half years during a depression! What does it say about the
Americans of bygone years? Dogged determination. The terrorists won:
they knock down a building and we can't replace it. Shameful. What would
George, John, Tom, Jim and the rest of the gang think? If there is a
God and a heaven, we're certain that there not bragging about being
Americans. Start spreading the news: if you can knock us down here,
you can knock us down anywhere. N.Y., New York. Alliteration: moderate,
muslim myth. We pointed out over two years ago and we have raised the issue
since: virtually all so-called 'moderate' mosques in the U.S. receive
contributions from the terrorist-supporting "muslim brotherhood," We better
be careful, we know how overly-sensitive, un-REASONable, murderous moon-
worshippers (there were a group of Arabs who were pagans {believed in many
gods and goddesses} who mohammad convinced to believe in one-god, their
main god, the moon - hence crescent and star) reacted in Afghanistan recently
when a drunken preacher in Florida burned a koran by behaving like madman
while they killed U.N. representatives. We better go into hiding. Half-way there:
homebound).
(While we are no longer Christian, we know how to hold a grudge. In 1179 A.D., muslims
slaughtered Knights of the Temple {a.k.a. Knights Templar - new concept:
Monk/Knight combo - created first international corporation and established
the precursor of today's banking system; protected pilgrims to and from Holy
Land; their first HQ at or near what had been the Temple of Solomon; Jewish
and Christian claims on the Holy Land are solid - now there is a 'people of
the dome' at what is believed to be the site of the Temple of Solomon and
later Temple Mount - the moon people of mohammad formed nearly 1800 years
after the beginnings of ancient Israel and 600 years after Christ} at the castle
at Jacob Ford while survivors tortured to death. A pleasant twist of fate: Castle
meant to survive a siege lasting as long as a year. A Templar machine raised
fresh water from underground. The mangled bodies of  Templars
tossed into the well. Here is the good part: muslims take over the
castle, water contaminated from decaying Templars, ten high-ranking muslim
officers die, other muslims became modestly to extremely sick; few spared
misery. Oh, sweet justice).
CRITICISM 2: "promote the general welfare" meant protect the good
people from the bad people so that the good people could enjoy justice,
domestic tranquility and the blessings of Liberty via protection provided
by Constitution and military.
This was the Real Federalist/Constructionist/Judeo-Christian/free-market
liberal (don't faint!, later became known as capitalism) Constitution. The
concept of the bogus progressive/secular/'living' constitution was developed between
1870-1935 and is what is taught to our children in union-destroyed public
schools. Prior to the 1960s, public schools were nearly as good as
Catholic schools when it came to education and discipline. The first
and biggest teacher's union was created in 1961. In 1964, the public
school day would no longer begin was a prayer and the Bible would
no longer be used to help teach English (writer is non-religious but saw
value in these requirements as we witnessed the decline in morality in general
and the behavior of children in particular (lack of discipline, especially, in high schools)
Liberals distort Tom and separation of
church and state. He mandated these requirements in D.C. public schools).
Since the sixties, we have pumped over a trillion in public schools (prior
to '60s, we spent little on public schools), the  biggest teacher's union formed in 1961,
in 1978, we created the United States Department of Education. Over the past few
decades, compared to other industrialized nations, we went from eighth to fourteenth in
reading, the top three in science to seventeenth, top three in math. to twenty-fifth.
Fascinating: we spend on average of $10,000 per pupil per year in a regular public
school, less in magnets and charters and an average of $6,000 in private schools
(most of which are Christian, most of which are Catholic); privates out-perform
magnets and charters while mags and charts fair better than regulars. Liberal
myth:we don't spend enough on retarded regs.
As part of the bogus constitution is the notion that "promote the general
welfare" meant that fed gov shouldn't limit itself to the responsibilities
clearly delineated in the Real Constitution but it should stick its nose
into those areas that the Founding Fathers felt could be best handled
by the states and localities.
"The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution
nor prohibited by it to the States are reserved to the States respectively
            or to the people."
                         -Bill of Rights, Amendment Ten
(We have a bone to pick with the Founding Daddys {George, please forgive us}:
You capitalized the 'S' but not the 'p' ?).

Gov think (and, especially, shocking that it is happenning in the Big State of Texas):
"Daughters of the Alamo" have managed the Alamo for  decades even though
land and the Old Mission are owned by the state. No taxpayer money is used:
donations and a gift shop pays for upkeep, tour guides, security, etc. Visitors
talk about how clean it is, how will informed guides are, quality of free pamphlets
and so forth. Now state wants to oversee the Daughters operation. There's an
old Army saying: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." Can you imagine what will happen
if state legislature passes the bill! Many years ago, Jerry Jewish was asked why
MDA didn't except gov funds for which it was eligible. He feared money would
eventually lead to gov interference and that they would screw-up the works.

PROPOSAL 43: Abolish Department of Education with its $100 billion annual
budget. We will save 1 Trillion over 10 years. We should increase fed aid to the
states by $5 billion ($50 billion over ten years in
the form of block grants with no strings attached other then 1: They must
add it to the money fed gov already gives to states for education and must
spend it in education and 2: States must by accountable. There can be
a $1 billion annual budget for fed committee on ed to make sure $$$s are not
victim of waste and fraud. If so, that state will receive less money in the
future. Fed com can make recommendations to states but should no
longer be able to compel them to do something (unsupported and partially-
supported mandates no more) and administer nationally-standardized tests,
otherwise, damn union will have teachers return to the policy of
promoting undeserving students - social promotions - in order that teacher's
don't look bad: half the class failing. These tests were part of Bush's "No
Child Behind" and teacher's unions hate it: it is exposing incompetent
teachers - most of them! (We previously endorsed parental choice in a
democracy - school vouchers and converting all regular public schools into
magnet and charter schools. Albert Shankor, the head of the teacher's union
said in 1987: "We will care about the kids when they're old enough to pay union
dues." We say: Care about the kids now!
PROPOSAL 45: Even evil Mr. progressive FDR thought that public unions
were a bad idea, nonetheless, they formed at fed- and state-levels between
1950-70. States are now curtailing the power of state public unions. They
must be abolished! Next step: Destroy private sector unions! Why are
American businesses outsourcing, building and expanding factories in
foreign countries and hiring foreign workers? Unions in poor countries are
non-existent or weak. Union demands are costly.

RISE: Decades of unprecedented prosperity or FALL: third-world status for
the U.S.A.

PROPOSAL 45: Rescind Obama-care and Financial Reform with its 1,500-plus
new regulations! Costly to comply with them - most of which are unnecessary,
and/or redundant and/or silly. Contrary to popular opinion American
businessman and corporate execs aren't evil and want to hire the best
workers in the world - the American workers.

Over a year ago in an article and more recently in a "Action Chain Letter," we
recommended cutting the corporate income tax from 35% (the second highest
in the world) to 25% immediately, 22 1/2 in five years and 20% in ten years;
further, we want to see the capital gains tax reduced from 20% to 10%.
Abolish unions, nullify many, if not, most regs (states can re impose certain
regs if they have a damn good reason) and cut taxes = unprecedented growth:
new factories built and existing factories expanded in U.S., a dramatic increase
in domestic hiring and stockholders rolling in dough - spending, investing and
saving. U.S. R & D will no longer be threatened for companies will invest
tons of green backs in it. Corporations, stockholders and Commodities-Investors
will be paying less in taxes percentage-wise but more $-wise; they won't mind
for they will be making so much more. Down goes the national debt.

Our motto: Cut, Baby, Cut! Americans in general will suffer and certain groups
in particular, including, us. Big, painful cuts now or bigger more painful cuts
later as 12 1/2% of federal income taxes collected go toward paying the
interest on the national debt to 25% in ten years. Further, we haven't been
paying anything toward the principal! Of course, our economic/financial
system could collapse in five years or less.
Early this year, we made it clear that we would abandon Republican Party
and become a registered Independent if Repubs weren't serious about debt
reduction. We might still do so if they falter in their resolve and cave to Obama
and start doing smoke-and-mirrors.

Proposal 46: We endorse bringing back the "Balanced Budget Amendment"
opposed by Clinton but, nonetheless, passed by Repubs. Clinton would later
take the bows as he always did for things that he opposed but later worked.
A pox on their houses: Repubs and, later, Dems would figure out ways to
get around Amendment by discovering loopholes. This is big: gov living within
its means; no more deficits but doesn't negate need for major spending
cuts. Even a freeze on spending wouldn't suffice. You have to pay your debt!

Bad Republican here: Returning to one of our favorite nemesis - subsidies.
We oppose subsidies that Republicans like, such as, oil. We oppose Democratic
subsidies to wind and solar. Libs think solar and wind are panacea - far
from it. Libs worry about the environment and animal protection - some rights!
 Charles Krauthamer, political
commentator and former psychiatrist (somehow that makes sense) recently
pointed out that windmills and windmills for electricity-generation kill half of a
million birds per year.
Why don't birds suddenly appear when liberals are near; just like me, they
long to be far from them. (we promise that we will never sing again!).
         End of Part One.
