Update - SmS - 2010

Dear all,

 

at the meeting we had in December we agreed in pursuing the following projects for 2010:

 

- writing contest.

- create a open source video game about the cell  

- scientific cafes

- open day

- participate in the science week in Genève 

- prepare a Spanish/Catalan/Italian/Portuguese blog with scientific news.

- art and science experiences (contest).

 

I was wondering whether we should start thinking about the money issue to finance them.

If it works like last year, the PRBB will take care of the writing contest and the open day, and the CRG about the

scientific cafes.

 

If we want to proceed with the remaining projects (open source video / blog with scientific news* / art and science), we need concrete names that wish to push forward the topic. To facilitate this task, you can register in the following doodle:   http://www.doodle.com/v9bd3pm5ecfgam76

Hi everyone,

 

The PRBB can indeed maintain financial support for the Open Day (asking for a grant…) and for the Premi El·lipse.

The other proposals are very interesting and we would like to talk about them in a meeting. Perhaps we can try to ask for grants from the FECYT for each activity.
We also need to find a theme (flavor) for the Open Day in order to ask for a grant to the FECYT.

 

So, I think we need a meeting with the SmS coordinator of each activity and with the responsible of the communication department of each center.

Do you agree? Do we have a budget estimate of each thing?

We must have the meeting this week or next, because the deadline for submitting proposals to the FECYT is March 25. It is now!!!

Poca gent ha respòs a la convocatòria de reunió. De totes maneres la farem el proper dimarts 23 de febrer a les 3, a la Sala de Juntes de la planta 4 per començar a parlar

De moment ningú ha enviat cap “idea” per l’Open day i pot ser que no vingui ningú al  PRBB breakfast de dijous L.

 

Hauríem de fer una mica de publicitat entre gent que creiem que pot estar interessada perquè vingui, no? Us envio el pdf del pòster per si el voleu enviar a algú.

 

També s’hauria de preparar la presentació del PRBB Breakfast i explicar què hem pensat fins ara. Voluntari/a?
